NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking an HR Onboarding Specialist to join our team in Tampa, FL. This is a hybridcontract position. 

Salary: $20-$35hr (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS: 
• 1–3 years of experience in HR, onboarding, or a related administrative role.
• Knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, and best practices in onboarding.
• Proficiency with Paychex software (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, ADP, or similar systems).
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinate and execute onboarding processes from pre-hire through the first 30 days.
• Collect, verify, and file required documents including offer letters, I-9s, W-4s, NDAs, and background check authorizations.
• Set up new hires in HRIS, payroll, and benefits systems; ensure timely enrollment in all applicable programs.
• Facilitate orientation sessions, introduce new employees to company policies and culture, and provide required training resources.
• Partner with IT to ensure timely provisioning of equipment, email, and systems access.
• Monitor compliance with legal requirements and company policies across onboarding documentation.
• Track and improve onboarding KPIs such as new hire retention, time-to-productivity, and employee satisfaction.
• Support continuous improvement of onboarding materials and processes based on feedback.
• Maintain accurate employee records and assist with audits or reporting as needed.
• Maintain and support company Job boards.
• Monitor shared inboxes for leads and candidates.
• Update and Maintain Contractor onboarding workbook.
