NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a Business Operations Manager to join our client’s team. This is a direct hire position. Candidate must be located in Orlando, FL.

SALARY: $80-120k (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • This person must be proactive, detail oriented and enjoy working in an entrepreneurial environment
  • We are looking for a teammate who is able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion
  • The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities
  • The best candidates should be confident working independently on tasks, from conception to completion
  • This position requires a 4-year Bachelor’s of Science Degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in a business operations related position such as: Business Analyst; Project Manager; Controller
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
  • Extraordinarily strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, external partners, and customers
  • Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
  • Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high-performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the COO including managing an extremely active calendar of appointments; composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential
  • On a daily basis, assist the COO in evaluating and setting priorities for himself and the organization
  • Will be responsible for the daily technical management, supervision, organization, and communication of the COO’s business and personal calendar, emails and correspondence, project management, and other business and personal tasks as needed
  • Manages daily inflow and outflow of correspondence via email, including Outlook, and hardcopy correspondence including phone and letters
  • Reviews and responds to emails/correspondence in a timely and professional manner on behalf of the COO
  • Escalates high-urgency messages and executes on necessary responses
  • Provides “gatekeeper“ and “gateway“ roles, creating win-win situations for direct access to the COO’s time and office
  • Keep the COO well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately; makes live changes to plans and schedules as demands require
  • Proactive identification of issues that could impact the successful execution of the COO’s commitments
  • Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the COO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature
  • Determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response
  • Successfully completes critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting acknowledgment letters, personal correspondence, and other tasks that facilitate the COO’s ability to effectively lead the company
  • Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures
