NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a Director of Technology / Application Development to join our client’s team in Tampa, FL. This is an on-site, direct hire position. Candidate must be located in the Tampa area.

SALARY: $120-135K + bonus (depending on experience)

The Director of Technology will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of all Company systems and the successful implementation of custom and off-the-shelf solutions. The incumbent is a thought leader and visionary who shapes, in cooperation with the VP, Technology, the technical landscape and culture of the technology team. This role provides leadership and support to internal and external IT Teams that actively develop and support solutions the company depends on every day. The Director should foster an environment of execution that often requires hands on work to drive efforts to completion. The Director should be comfortable working with executives to plan and execute projects. 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10+ years technology experience
  • 5 years application development leadership (managing a team of up to 20 employees and 3rd party providers)
  • Good understanding of budgeting and forecasting 
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps, .NET, Office 365 Administration, Networking, Desktop Support, Active Directory (Azure)
  • Experience managing legacy systems and migration
  • Knowledge of Security best practices and compliance with standards (PCI and GDPR) 
  • Soft skills: ability to work effectively with all executive levels, good situational awareness

Highly Preferred Experience:

  • VOIP and hosted Call Center Solutions experience 
  • Experience with Azure and Amazon cloud environments 
  • Previous Mulesoft or other ESB 
  • Experience with hosted ERP applications like Microsoft Dynamics 
  • Business Continuity Planning experience 
  • ITIL experience/certification 

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Provide Mentorship and Leadership to IT resources
  • Mitigate risk to minimize impact of change on the business. 
  • Act as technical lead on initiatives to change or implement new solutions
