NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a Junior Systems Administrator to join our client’s team in Oldsmar, FL. This is a direct hire position with some remote flexibility.

 

 

SALARY: $55-70K (depending on experience)

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5 years’ experience as a Network or Systems Admin
  • 5 years’ experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory and disk configurations
  • 2 years’ experience working with VMware and or Hyper V

 

 

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Maintaining computer networks and systems including software, mainframes, VPNs, routers and other physical hardware
  • Installing and configuring network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues
  • Updating virus protection software to keep data and communications protected
  • Monitoring computer systems to improve network performance for computer systems and networks
  • Communicating networking issues to other employees and management, especially in training new users
  • Fixing software and hardware configuration issues for users on-demand or from inspection of the systems
  • Optimizing and evaluating the system regularly
  • Assigning and updating security permissions for the system network
  • Analyzing and figuring out the system needs of an organization
  • Working closely with other department Managers to assess the growth needs and maintenance of the company’s network
  • Manage VMware and Hyper V Cluster
  • Manage Veeam and backup solution
  • Manage SAN
  • Manage primary and secondary datacenters
  • Ability to migrate from private cloud to public cloud
  • On-call requirements to ensure 24 x 7 support of operations
