NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a Product Development Manager to join our client’s team. This is a 100% remote, direct hire position. Must be able to work East Coast hours.

 

 

SALARY: $150-180K + bonus (depending on experience)

 

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical product management role focusing on IT, SaaS, or Data Science in corporate environment
  • Help take the Company roadmap into definable metrics for the engineering team.
  • Must come from a tech company (ideally a data company)
  • Jira or GitLab experience
  • Customer requirements gathering and management experience
  • Technical solution design & execution experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities: must effectively communicate with technical and non-technical people; the ability to present complex concepts to a wide range of audiences
  • Ability to discuss with the customers and evaluate matters relating to technology, governance, enterprise architecture, regulatory requirements, solution performance, etc.
  • Ability to evaluate key metrics and optimize performance
  • Deep knowledge of the product life cycle and understands how it affects development adjustments
  • Demonstrated track record of managing successful projects from feature definition to project deployment
  • Analytical and able to create sound business arguments backed up by data
  • Ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with attention to detail and organizational skills

 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Clearly break down the product roadmap into definable bodies of work for consistent product delivery cycles
  • Ensure that user story content and prioritization is aligned to the larger strategic objective
  • Recommend the scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and appraising adjustments
  • Understand and prioritize feature requests and modifications against strategic goals and initiatives
  • Represent customers by understanding their needs and product requirements
  • Foster collaboration with product designers, engineers, quality assurance, and marketing to explore, prioritize, and launch solutions
  • Work with the development team to ensure that product requirements are understood and built accordingly
  • Oversee and facilitate product delivery by working closely with onshore and nearshore resources
  • Support engineering team to ensure customer satisfaction goals are met
  • Explore competitors’ products and come up with new ways to improve the company’s products
  • Work with Product Marketing to train sales and strategy teams for product demos to potential customers
