NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a VP of Sales & Marketing to join our client’s team in St. Petersburg, FL. This is a direct hire position with remote flexibility.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Professional Services or SAAS sales experience is a must
  • Cyber security sales in: Hi Trust, PEN testing, ISO 9001, or Consulting services in this area
  • The Vice President of Sales & Marketing is responsible for strategy, execution and management of all sales and business development initiatives for the firm.
  • 10+ years in sales roles, 5+ years in a leadership role driving revenue growth
  • Proven experience in driving high growth in small/midsize company (<50M).
  • Professional services experience or technology Sales Experience highly preferred
  • Experience within the Cyber Security audit space is a preferred.
  • Consulting services, Hi Trust Audit, Pen Testing or ISO 9001 would be a huge plus
  • Experience in developing new sales leads and lead generation strategies.
  • Significant P&L experience
  • Ability to formulate, refine, and execute a sales strategy
  • History of decision-making based on business metrics
  • Inspirational leadership style and hands-on approach – position requires a servant-leader mentality.
  • Track record of leading by example and with positive energy.
  • Experience with Sandler Sales methodology a plus.

 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • The VP of Sales will report to the Chief of Staff of the company.
  • The VP of Sales will inherit a team of 4-5 enterprise sales reps and will need to grow and scales this team with the goal of doubling company revenue in 4 years.
  • He/she will be responsible for developing strategies to fully penetrate the existing account base and identify and target new client opportunities.
  • He/she will lead/assist the leadership team in growing existing verticals and identifying new verticals and geographies to penetrate.
  • He/she will be responsible for monitoring and managing KPIs, metrics, deal flow, and the sales funnel and assisting in closing the deals when appropriate.
  • He/she will mentor and coach the sales team to create a world-class, high performing sales organization.
  • He/she will Monitor the P&L and conduct a proper sales forecast
  • Uphold the company mission and vision
  • Provide sales report that will be presented to the company board of directors
  • Go To Market Strategies/Product Development
    • The new sales leader will play a key role in helping guide the company to explore what new capabilities we should be pursing based on where the market is today, where they think it is going and ensuring the company is positioned properly.
    • Once new products/capabilities are identified, the new sales leader will be responsible for creating a go to market strategy that will accelerate growth in that area to ensure the company sees return on its investment.
  • Market Research and Planning:
    • The company understands more today than ever what the ideal engagements are based on client success, financial outcomes, and our own capabilities. The new sales leader will need to have a clear understanding of this and the develop and execute strategies that will drive growth in those key areas.
  • Data Driven:
    • The leader will leverage data/information to manage the sales organization or drive growth. KPI’s currently in use are high level. Need to develop new data to determine trends, efficiency of the sales organization, efficiency of marketing spend, etc.
  • Planning and Implementing Future State Sales Organization/Structure:
    • The new leader will need to evaluate the current sales organization structure and balance that against the company’s revenue goals. Key areas include:
      • Compensation plan development is a key area that needs to be reviewed and continually updated to drive the sales organization to deliver the results desired by leadership.
      • Org structure should be reviewed and implement a structure that will allow us to achieve financial goals.
  • Sales/Marketing Lead Development Thought Leadership
    • The future leader will be key in determining how to increase the number of leads that sales can develop.
  • Create and roll out a formal Channel/Partner Program
    • This leader will formalize a strategy to ensure the company leverages channel/partners in the best manner possible.
  • Competitive Pricing Process/Modeling
    • This leader will implement a process that provides the organization the understanding of what the market pricing for different services is.
  • Brand Development
    • This leader will own the companies branding and ensure it reflects the organization in the market.
  • Client Satisfaction and Referral Process/Program
    • Establish a formal process for tracking client satisfaction and referral process.
  • Development of a Formal 360 Advanced Sales Strategy Framework
    • Standardize the methodology by which each sales executive deploys
