NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a Software Engineer – AI & Cloud Development to join our client’s team in Tampa, FL or New York, NY. This is an hybrid, direct hire position.
SALARY: $130k-$150k (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:
• Extensive experience in Python for backend development
• Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining ML models
• Proven ability to integrate generative AI and large language models into production systems
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and scalable backend architectures
• Experience working on chatbot or conversational AI projects, especially with LLMs
• Cross-functional team collaboration experience
• Staying current with advancements in AI, LLMs, and agentic systems
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design, develop, and maintain applications utilizing Microsoft’s AI tools, including Copilot Studio and Azure AI Services
• Support full custom development within the M365 ecosystem, React, and Node.js
• Collaborate with data scientists and innovation teams to implement AI-driven solutions
• Contribute to high-level technical discussions and system architecture planning
• Drive projects forward proactively within an agile environment
• Explore and prototype innovative AI applications to enhance business processes
