NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking an Area Retail Manager to join our client’s team in Orlando, FL. This is an on-site, direct hire position. Candidate must sit in the Orlando area.

SALARY: $54-81K (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A college education is preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Previous retail and/or stock handling experience is preferred.
  • Three (3) years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Vizio.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  1. Oversee the day to day operations of multiple Donation Xpress locations.
  2. Ensure Kaizen layout is implemented and followed at all locations
  3. Accurate tracking and recording of daily Donation acquisition
  4. Management of Stock on Hand report to ensure both DXs and stores supply needs are met
  5. Participate with Director of Donated Goods and Team Leads to identify and follow up on site opportunities.
  6. Development, implementation and growth of Donation Box initiative, Donation Drives; community and internal, and alliances to increase community awareness and improve our clothing donation program
  7. Responsible for all aspects of the bin program including obtaining permission for placement, working with office coordinating the physical movement of bins, developing maintenance schedules, reviewing results of current bin yields and adjusting placements, when necessary, and continual growth of the bin collection methods.
  8. The ability to cold-call both in person and by phone with businesses and nonprofits to develop relationships and increase clothing collections.
  9. Responsible for maintaining, or exceeding, established performance metrics related to bin placements, partnerships and alliances.
  10. Travel required
  11. Responsible for filling out daily activity report containing list of contacts and results of those contacts
  12. Responsible to provide weekly recap of results for compensation requirements
  13. Other Duties as Assigned by Director of Donated Goods
  14. Create work schedules for Donation Xpress attendants to ensure proper coverage.
  15. Develop, recommend, and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
  16. Conduct required audits in a timely manner.
  17. Assist in the training of new Donation Xpress employees.
  18. Assist in providing inter-departmental training as requested by Director of Donated Goods.
  19. Work with other departments within Retail Services to ensure an effective and efficient operation.
  20. Evaluate performance of department personnel as requested including performance appraisals.
  21. Compile special data as requested by the Director of Donated Goods.
  22. Manage time system software for all assigned employees.
  23. Safety Captain for multiple locations. Responsible for entering in Safety Audits for assigned locations by the 10th of the month.
  24. Maintain supply inventory for multiple locations
