NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking an Assistant Plant Manager to join our client’s team in Swainsboro,GA. This is an onsite, direct hire position.
SALARY: $110-120k + Bonus (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:
- 5–8 years in leadership roles in building products manufacturing
- Assembly-line or building products experience (e.g., windows, doors, cabinets, flooring, etc.)
- Lean manufacturing & continuous improvement expertise – must have
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel (for reporting/scorecards, not heavy analysis)
- Soft skills: Strong leadership, people development, hands-on approach; excellent communication; ability to relate to diverse workforce
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proven experience managing day-to-day production operations, including people, equipment, and materials, to meet quality and efficiency targets.
- Strong leadership skills to direct, motivate, and develop department teams, including cross-training, performance feedback, and coaching.
- Ability to monitor workflow, production schedules, and product quality, using data to drive continuous improvement.
- Experience with line balancing, product prioritization, and implementing standardized work procedures.
- Knowledge of EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) regulations and ability to maintain a safe, harassment-free work environment.
- Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing environment.
- Capable of staffing assessments, interviewing, recommending hires, and managing corrective actions for performance or conduct issues.
- Physically able to work in a manufacturing environment, including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and using required safety equipment.
