We are  currently seeking a Director of Business Development to join our team here at NextPath Career Partners in Tampa, FL. This is an onsite, direct hire position.
 
SALARY: Competitive base salary + commissions (uncapped) 
 
REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of business development experience in the staffing industry, with a focus on technical/IT and F&A contract placements.
  • Demonstrated track record of securing new clients and expanding business within existing accounts, particularly for contract/flex roles.
  • Previous experience successfully selling Statement of Work (SOW) business and/or technology solutions on a time and materials basis.
  • Deep knowledge and experience in the technology eco-system with existing relationships in Tampa Bay/Florida/Nationally.
  • In-depth understanding of the technical, IT, and F&A staffing market, including trends, competitor landscape, contract negotiation, and talent availability.
  • Exceptional ability to build and nurture client relationships, with a focus on consultative selling.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate staffing solutions to diverse stakeholders.
  • High degree of initiative and independence, with the ability to work autonomously and drive results without direct supervision.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms for tracking sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline management.

 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify, target, and secure new clients (“logos”) for contract staffing services within the technical/IT and F&A industry.
  • Will specifically be tasked with targeting, developing and selling SOW work into new and existing clients.
  • Work closely with existing clients to understand their evolving staffing needs, driving additional revenue through contract placements.
  • Work with Account Managers to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers, including hiring managers, procurement teams, and HR professionals.
  • Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitor activity, and client needs to identify new opportunities and position the firm as a trusted staffing partner.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present customized staffing solutions and proposals that align with client goals and objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with account managers & recruiters to ensure successful placement and retention of contract professionals.
  • Performance Metrics: Consistently meet or exceed revenue, gross margin, and profitability goals.
