NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a Director of Transitions to join our client’s team in St. Petersburg, FL. This is an onsite, direct hire position.
SALARY: $165-$180K + bonus (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience leading transitions of advisors from one company to another, incorporating all aspects of asset transfers and advisor onboarding.
- At least 4 years of experience as a people leader of a project management/transition and/or implementation team.
- Proven experience in project management, client service, or a related role within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of financial products, services, and regulatory requirements. Wealth Management experience would be ideal.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment as a strategic leader.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM and financial planning software.
- 50% of traveling will be required for this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee and manage the Transitions team & process for new clients and advisor teams, ensuring all team members are completing tasks/projects with accurately and within established timelines.
- Strategize with advisors / RIAs who are interested in our services, to understand their unique needs, goals, and preferences, and develop customized transition plans to meet those needs
- Process Optimization:
- Identify and implement best practices and process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the transition process.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive transition documentation, including timelines, checklists, and status reports.
- Partner with other leaders to develop strategy on best practices for the transition services team’s ability to provide value.
- Work closely with internal teams and other leaders, including Operations, Compliance, Technology, and support staff, to coordinate and execute transition activities.
- Act as a liaison between advisors, clients, and internal departments to address and resolve any issues that arise during the transition process.
- Be a contributing member of the management team and work closely together on initiatives that drive the business.
- Lead the project management process and, where needed, provide proactive support and guidance to advisors and clients throughout the transition process, addressing any concerns or questions that may arise.
- Guide team members on execution of all transition-related tasks, including account setup, data migration, and client communication, are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Be the strategic leader whose team can manage multiple transition projects simultaneously, ensuring that each project is completed on time and within scope.
- Monitor progress, track milestones, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Ability to lead, delegate, assign and follow up on projects.
- Develop and deliver training materials and resources to support advisors and clients during the transition process.
- Develop onboarding and training for new employees joining the Transition Services team.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to continuously improve transition processes.
- Build and develop a high-performing team, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to foster professional growth and maximize employee engagement.
- Provide ongoing feedback and develop employees on the Transition Services team.
- Cultivate a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence within the transitions department and across the organization.
