NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking an Engineering Manager-Compliance to join our client’s team in Manhattan, NY. This is an remote, direct hire position.
SALARY: $160-$180K (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:
- Heavy .NET backend expertise, Azure Cloud (will sub for AWS but Azure desired)
- 10 years exp at least, with 3-5 years leading teams
- Needs to come from a Compliance/Regulated industry – working on system design (Finance, HIPAA, Payments) – requirement
- Heavy Automation experience
- Hands-on leadership + mentoring engineers
- Need to be touching high observability and automation of critical systems
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead development of compliance systems for underwriting and lending (UDAAP, Adverse Actions).
- Design and implement robust backend platforms using .NET + Azure.
- Mentor and coach engineers, fostering autonomy and creativity.
- Drive AI adoption for code reviews, testing, delivery insights, documentation.
- Partner with Legal, Security, Risk, and Product to translate compliance requirements into scalable solutions.
- Execute complex projects in a regulated, high-performance environment.
- Improve transparency, delivery velocity, and engineering effectiveness.
- Develop strategic backlog and tooling roadmap for long-term automation.
