NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking an Enterprise Architect to join our client’s team in Florida. This is a remote, direct hire position. Candidate must be willing work EST hours.

SALARY: $120-140K (depending on experience)


  • Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in the field of computer science or related field from an accredited college or university, or 3-5 years’ experience in lieu of degree, is required. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a hands-on technical capacity required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an Enterprise Architecture capacity required
  • 1-year experience in financial industry strongly preferred. 
  • Preferred experience working in an Agile working environment. 
  • Candidates should have a solid background in enterprise architecture, including experience in designing and implementing complex systems and solutions within large organizations. This involves understanding various architectural domains such as application architecture, data architecture, infrastructure architecture, and security architecture. 
  • Experience with and knowledge of an enterprise architectural framework such as TOGAF to be used for documentation, planning, and governing of our current and future technology architecture. 
  • Must demonstrate superior communication/interpersonal skills and outstanding organizational skills, exercise exceptional independent judgment, effectively prioritize work, and maintain strict confidentiality. 
  • Must be able to work independently and maintain tight schedules. 


  • Establish and maintain Company’s Enterprise Architecture practice area. 
  • Ongoing Documentation of Process: Meets regularly with business owners to understand and document business processes and the underlying technology supporting those processes. 
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy aligned with business objectives, ensuring technology solutions support long-term organizational goals. Recognize and evaluate potential risks stemming from both historical and upcoming technology decisions by taking a proactive role to mitigate security vulnerabilities, ensure regulatory compliance, and safeguard data privacy throughout the architectural planning and execution phases. Plan and partner with business owners to update or replace processes, systems, or vendor products that are not currently performing to our standards. 
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams ensuring adherence to architectural best practices, standards, and methodologies. 
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, gather feedback, and ensure alignment between business needs and technology solutions. Understanding the C-suites view of Company’s capabilities and mapping the next steps to mature our tech stack within the next 3-5 years. 
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate architectural risks by conducting thorough analysis, implementing robust security measures, and staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies. 
  • Governance and Compliance: Establish and enforce governance frameworks, standards, and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal guidelines. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement efforts by evaluating existing systems, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing innovative solutions to streamline processes and drive operational excellence.
