NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking an Enterprise Data Developer to join our client’s team. This is a remote, direct hire position.

SALARY: $128-162K (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5 years in Data Integration / ETL5 years building, designing, scaling data pipelines for data lakes and enterprise data warehousing
  • 2 years with data modelling
  • General Dimensional Tableau
  • 3 years with data platforms such as Redshift, Snowflake, or Postgres. Databricks relevant – but has to have been on a big data platform.
  • SQL is required
  • Modern Data Pipeline Management tools (Eg: Fivetran)
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP

Preferred:

  • Preferably 1+ year using DBT
  • Understanding of declarative tooling
  • Bonus points for Salesforce, NetSuite

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and implement data integration and transformation solutions in alignment with the Enterprise Data Architecture.
  • Adhere to established policies and standards for modeling, structuring, naming, describing, securing, and formatting data.
  • Take our data platform to the next level by crafting ELT Pipelines, and Reverse-ETL to enable seamless and effective data sharing across the organization.
  • Build and scale data pipelines from our source applications and databases into Snowflake.
  • Validate and test ETL/ELT processes, monitoring performance and tuning as necessary
  • Extract, scrub, quality control, normalize, and model data, setting and following guidelines.
  • Design, build, and maintain system integrations to automate and scale our data and business systems.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Business Intelligence, Security, and others to inform strategy and design.
  • Complete assigned tickets including functional/technical development, testing, review, UAT, and deployment while communicating progress and blockers.
  • Promote best practices and help guide the team toward continuous improvement.
  • Understand data technology trends and the practical application of existing and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business needs.
  • Develop training around data integration and transformation general practices and principles.
