NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join our client’s team in New York, NY. This is a Remote, Contract to Hire position.
SALARY: $130,000-$140,000 (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience across frontend and backend technologies
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and core software engineering principles
- Proficiency with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and REST APIs
- Frontend experience with modern frameworks such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Vue.js, or Angular
- Experience building responsive, component-based web applications
- Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational database design
- Exposure to NoSQL databases and distributed systems
- Experience deploying and supporting applications in cloud environments using Docker and Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
- Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack web applications
- Build high-performance, low-latency backend systems
- Create and maintain well-documented REST APIs for frontend integration
- Translate UX/UI designs into responsive, user-friendly interfaces
- Collaborate with frontend and backend teams to deliver seamless experiences
- Optimize database queries and system performance
- Integrate third-party tools related to performance, data management, and security
- Write clean, secure, and testable code following best practices
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and system performance tuning
- Improve engineering standards, development workflows, and CI/CD processes
- Document system architecture, components, and workflows
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and knowledge sharing
