NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a Help Desk Manager to join our client’s team. This is a direct hire position with remote flexibility. Must be able to come in to the office at least 1 day a week. Candidate must be located in the Boston or NYC area.

SALARY: $105-130K (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have experience leading/managing a help desk, preferably at a University/College
  • 10+ years of combined training and experience as an IT professional (Higher Education experience preferred)
  • 5+ years of IT senior management experience with demonstrated ability to manage staff and lead teams and departments (Higher Education experience preferred)
  • Some of the following certifications desirable: ITIL, HDI, MCSE
  • Thorough understanding of privacy and security requirements in the education industry, such as FERPA preferred
  • Must have deep expertise in managing and negotiating agreements with large-scale vendors and global resources
  • Must have deep expertise in ServiceNow
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, AWS, Azure, Okta, multi-location networking and security best practices
  • Proven track record of implementing significant infrastructure projects on schedule and budget, including datacenter builds and relocations, cloud solutions and voice solutions
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into solutions that map to technology capabilities
  • Demonstrated reliable and methodical approach to troubleshooting end user issues
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, including solid verbal and written communications
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience and comfort in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player; take initiative and manage multiple tasks and projects
  • Sound judgment, maturity, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion 
  • A passion for working with young adults, an unshakable belief in their potential and a strong commitment to the mission of the Company
  • Understanding the Opportunity Divide and its drivers
