NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a Java Developer to join our client’s team. This is a remote, direct hire position.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Full stack Java Developer
- Cloud services, primarily AWS, to deploy and manage cloud-native applications
- Microservices architecture
- Familiarity with WCF, REST, and SOAP web services, as well as XML and JSON protocols.
- Strong knowledge of messaging technologies like AMQ and Redis.
- Proficiency in containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Experience with relational databases (MSSQL Server, PostgreSQL, SQLite) and NoSQL databases.
- Solid understanding of logical data modeling and database design.
- Object-oriented design and coding skills with a focus on performance and testing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain a unified platform for product suite.
- Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable Java code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Develop microservices using Java and related technologies to ensure modularity and scalability.
- Implement REST and SOAP web services using WCF to facilitate communication between different components.
- Work with XML and JSON protocols for data exchange and transformation.
- Utilize messaging technologies like AMQ and Redis to enhance real-time data processing.
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage container orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Create and maintain logical data models, define databases, and ensure data synchronization across various services.
- Design and optimize relational databases (e.g., MSSQL Server, PostgreSQL, SQLite) as well as NoSQL databases.
- Collaborate on cross-platform development to ensure compatibility and consistency across different operating systems.
- Leverage cloud services, primarily AWS, to deploy and manage cloud-native applications.
- Conduct object-oriented design, coding, performance tuning, and unit testing.
