NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a NetSapien Telecom Engineer to join our client’s team in Brandon, FL. This is a direct hire position with remote flexibility. You must be able to go on-site 1+ days a week. Candidate must be located in the Tampa Bay area.

SALARY: $55-80K (depending on experience)


  • Proficient with Ubuntu commands
  • Must have experience with NetSapien Manager web interface
  • SiPbx Interface
  • NDP, NMS, and QOS monitoring
  • Managing all aspects of NetSapien infrastructure


  • Must meet or exceed established goals and operational performance


  • Owns end-to-end response to escalated problems including ticket

processing, documentation, and customer contact.

  • Assists in testing and troubleshooting hardware and applications to ensure integration with product deployments.
  • Proactively works with development to add additional elements to the system to continually improve monitors. Monitors system health and quality on a daily basis and provides appropriate action.
  • Resolution of operational issues involving all VoIP endpoints, including but not limited to routers, switches, handsets, servers, both virtual and physical.
  • The role involves being an escalation point for voice and network issue resolution.
  • Maintain and upgrade voice, and collaboration tools and infrastructure in accordance with established processes and procedures
  • Documents results of applied work processes and practical application of technical standards. Reports results to management. Recommends innovative solutions
  • Sets the tone and pace for work performance within project groups and impressionable Engineering and Operations staff.
  • Provides advanced troubleshooting support when complex issues arise to support operational standards and uptime.
  • This position may require participation in 24×7 on-call support rotation, and performance of off-hour maintenance work.
  • Advanced experience with networking concepts and configuration.
  • Exhibits excellent communication skills. Is able and willing to communicate openly and constructively in both group and one on one situations.
