NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a Project Accountant to join our client’s team in Orlando, FL. This is a remote, direct hire position. Candidate must sit in the Orlando area and be able to come in to the office on occasion.
SALARY: $60-75K (depending on experience)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2 years office experience at a General Contractor and/or within the construction management industry
- Understands how to set up process and procedures for a fast-growing Construction and real estate company
- Strong communication skills, with a customer service focus towards the field project teams
- MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Plan Grid or Adobe Acrobat proficiency required
- Construction financial management software familiarity such as CMIC is helpful
- Working knowledge of budgets, cost codes, and construction cost accounting
- Requirements: AIA billing and contracts experience, AR/AP job flow and process, lien waiver experience, NTO, Notary, Microsoft Calendar, PDF Suite, Quickbooks, Sage Cloud, Microsoft Presentation
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Processes multiple staff expenses and credit card statements
- Serves as a liaison for Operations and Human Resources
- Provide support to Project Administrators in the recruitment process
- Daily processing of invoices
- Process and Track Payroll weekly
- Process hourly and salary payroll on a weekly and biweekly pay schedule
- Monitor and manage subcontracts files processing pay apps monthly and bi-weekly
- Manage vendor files
- Manage insurance compliance
- Monitor, manage and maintain all project financials
- Process change orders, contracts, release of liens and subcontractor payment applications
- Occasional travel to job sites as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
