NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a Project Engineer – Manufacturing to join our client’s team in Richland, Mississippi. This is an onsite, direct hire position.
SALARY: $65-70K (depending on experience)
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-3 years manufacturing Project Engineering experience
- 2-3 years experience reading specifications and drawings, diagnosing issues
- 2-3 years budgeting, understanding labor and material controls
- Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
- Soft Skills: good business acumen and good communication skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads or coordinates project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, people management, and troubleshooting for engineering projects.
- Ensures project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost.
- Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
- Identifies, develops, and gathers necessary resources to complete the project.
- Prepares complex engineering designs and work specifications, and develops schedules, budgets and forecasts.
- Monitors activities, allocates resources, and assigns tasks to ensure targets are met.
- Liaises with other areas to secure specialized resources and contributions for the projects
