NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a Project Manager to join our client’s team in Dallas, TX. This is a direct hire position. Candidate should sit in Eastern or Central Time Zone, Dallas Metro Area is preferred.

SALARY: $120-150K (depending on experience)


  • 7-10 years of experience as an IT Project Manager
  • Big 4 Accounting firm experience preferred (will consider Fortune 500 experience)
  • Must have experience in a consultative, client facing, PM role
  • Must have experience consulting with C-suite executives
  • Must have recent experience implementing complex software. e.g. ERP, HRIS, or other complex systems
  • This role requires up to 50% travel

Preferred skills:

  • Heavily preferred: Yardi implementation experience or SaaS based CRM
  • Real estate project experience in the Senior living housing space. Multifamily experience as a backup since they will understand the complexity 
  • Prior experience with integrations 


  • Project Identification and Due Diligence
    • Work closely with internal clients to identify areas for improvement and developing and implementing solutions
    • Support project prioritization including Project Management Office efforts; maintain enterprise project priority and status
    • Consult with business partners to clarify and define business challenges, goals, scope, and requirements
    • Participate and/or lead vendor evaluation and selection efforts with costs/benefits in mind
    • Coordinate with vendors on statements of work
    • Develop business cases to quantify costs and benefits of a project
    • Identify baseline KPIs and quantitative goals of a project
    • Create project proposals in coordination with internal clients and present to Project Management Office
  • Project Management
    • Responsible for end-to-end program or project management, demonstrating ownership of the entire process
    • Organize and support kick-off meetings, design workshops and status updates
    • Support the completion of project deliverables
    • Communicate with project stakeholders and organizational leaders
    • Maintain full awareness of project statuses, assigned resources, issues and budget implications
    • Ensure program/project-related risks are managed and communicated to stakeholders
    • Monitor and manage project spend and internal resource hours
    • Organize and execute on system testing and training plans
    • Lead project staff, including training and providing input to performance evaluations
    • Track and communicate project results through both quantitative KPIs and qualitative user feedback
  • Identify Continuous Improvement Opportunities
    • Work with the business and technical contacts to scope and execute continuous improvement opportunities
    • Analyze operational metric reporting to uncover process improvement opportunities
    • Improve efficiency of existing systems and processes
    • Support internal stakeholders to keep systems updated for changing business needs
    • Leverage technology to support the automation and improvement of business processes.
    • Assist in the development and documentation of key policies, procedures, and processes
  • Serve as key technical contact for software applications. Responsibilities include:
    • Drive configuration changes and related testing
    • Support the primary business owners on technical questions
    • Track software costs, renewal dates and stay on top of competitors in the marketplace
    • Liaise with internal applications team
    • Support integration of software with other Company systems
    • Report on application spend, risk, and key dates
    • Query and analyze large data sets through ad-hoc query tools such as SQL or application specific query tools
    • Develop new reports from managed systems to support business needs
