NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a Sales Admin to join our client’s team in Jacksonville, FL. This is an onsite, direct hire position.

SALARY: $50-60K + bonus (depending on experience)


  • Must develop knowledge and proficiency in sales, product, and presentation skills. Must be able to demonstrate task chairs to walk-in clients and prepare their quotation.
  • Must be able to assist in the assembly of presentation materials that convey a professional appearance and reflect quality and craftsmanship in coordination of materials and finishes.
  • Must have a good understanding of the mathematics required to successfully complete all phases of the sales process.
  • Must be able to perform effectively under a minimum of supervision.
  • Must be able to work effectively as a team player on individual and group projects.
  • Must be open to accepting direction and constructive criticism as a means of gaining the knowledge and experience needed to develop and apply sales administration skills.
  • Must be sufficiently flexible and resourceful to cope with the time pressures and coordination challenges inherent in the position.
  • Technical Proficiencies: Specification software use (PROJECT MATRIX). Experience using Microsoft Suite, Presentation packages.


  • GenerateQuick QuotesFor private offices.
  • Verifying that pricing is current, including additional fees(Freight,Tariffs,Surchargesand SmallOrder Fees)
  • Verification of Contract Discounting that a Designer does not get a quote from (Premier, Vizient, State of Florida. If, indicated by the designer that verification and quotes have been verified, vendors quotes are not needed as part of the verification process.
  • Specifying “loose” furniture, including COM lines if applicable
  • If shop drawings are required, then a designer must specify.
  • Typicals that can be outsourced from manufacturers (excluding workstations)
  • Verify against vendor quotes provided (unless this is confirmed by Designer if applicable)
  • Verify additional fees and surcharges. Apply all additional fees.
  • Apply discounts to all products in specifications.
  • Verify any discounts already in the specifications, either against vendor quotes or provided contract.
  • Running Sifs through quote tool–Only if the Designer has not done this prior to submitting for further discounting. All tagging must be maintained as specified by the Designer.
  • Attending Weekly Design Huddle.
  • Keeping activity queue up to date.
  • Creating Product Presentations.
  • Generating pricing spreadsheets (If necessary)
  • Bids support with all ancillary or loose components. Running Budget Summaries (before a final proposal is required)
  • Generating design requests in conjunction with Account Managers and Account Executives
  • Order Fabric/Finish Samples
  • Request Installation quotes for transactional and small orders
  • Assist in getting COM quotes and reserving fabric
  • Assist in COM testing research–inquire if fabric has been approved for use on selected product–send samples to be tested for approval–report on fabric testing results.
  • Provides professional support and assistance to the sales and design team in the development of materials and products utilized in presentations to clients.
  • Carries out special projects and all other appropriate and reasonable duties that may be assigned from time to time.
  • Attends internal and external sales training meetings as required.
  • Assists the order entry process by uploading the final documents and confirming final sif.
