NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a Senior Lead Cloud Security Architect to join our client’s team in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a hybrid, direct hire position.
SALARY: $150,000 – $190,000K (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:
• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related field
• Practical expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure and services
• Experience with on-premises infrastructure
• Ability to articulate cybersecurity policies and procedures to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong communication, presentation, and customer service skills
• Knowledge of current cybersecurity architectures such as zero trust, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, virtualization, and containerization
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks like ISO 27000, NIST, FFIEC
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or AWS/Azure certifications are a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Define and recommend cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidelines
• Lead the development of secure design patterns based on organizational standards
• Collaborate with product and enterprise teams to implement cybersecurity best practices
• Conduct risk analysis and recommend solutions to mitigate security threats
• Support security incident response and participate in security events
• Research emerging security trends, threats, and technologies to recommend enhancements
• Work with technical teams to ensure security considerations are integrated into development and operations
• Incorporate vulnerability management, compliance, and governance into cybersecurity standards
• Establish and promote secure architecture across multi-cloud and on-prem environments
• Lead efforts in AI integration for architectural governance and security assessments
