NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our client’s team in Tampa, FL. This is an onsite (4 days in-office, 1 remote, remote day cannot be Monday) direct hire position.
SALARY: $120,000 – $130,000 (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:
• Strong experience with non-profit accounting
• Full responsibility for finance and accounting of a company generating approximately $5M in revenue
• Polished and professional communication skills, able to interface with high-level officials and CEOs
• Experience working with QuickBooks
• Minimum 5 years of management experience in finance or accounting roles
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field; CPA or accounting background preferred
• Knowledge of strategic planning, financial analysis, and budget management
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and reports for senior management and stakeholders
• Monitor financial performance, analyze budget variances, and provide insights to leadership
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
• Manage accounts payable, receivable, and banking relationships
• Develop and oversee budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies
• Coordinate and manage audits and tax filings
• Interface with city officials, high-profile stakeholders, and partners
• Assist with human resources functions such as performance evaluations, benefits, and onboarding as needed
• Maintain financial records and ensure proper documentation and account coding
• Stay abreast of trends in office automation and recommend efficiencies
