NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a VP of Finance to join our client’s team. This is a remote, direct hire position.
SALARY: $100-160K (depending on experience)
REQUIREMENTS:
- High growth experience is a must
- Experience with contract reviews/payment terms is a plus
- Experience with M&A is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Master's degree in business administration (MBA) preferred
- 10+ years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Experience in performance marketing preferred
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proven track record of success in financial strategy and planning
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Proficient with MS Excel or Google Sheets
- Experience with financial/accounting systems (Qlik, QuickBooks, SAP etc…) a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement financial strategies and plans that align with the company's business goals
- Develop and track incentive & bonus plans for team members
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Including, but not limited to… Monthly, Quarterly & Annual reporting o Reporting by cost center, verticals, etc. o Comparable and trends
- Manage the company's financial resources and risk, including investments, debt management,
- and external threats.
- Analyze daily financial data including financial income statements, balance sheets, and tax
- returns to provide insights to the CEO and other senior leadership
- Collaborate with the CEO to develop and implement business plans and strategies
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local financial regulations and laws
- Manage, optimize & negotiate relationships/rates with financial partners, including banks,
- investors, and other financial institutions
- Institute safeguards and systems to ensure clients are extended the proper amount of credit
- Oversee accounts payable (consultants, vendors, ads platforms, etc…)
- Accountability for producing gross and net operating margin reports
- Accountability for business cashflow forecasts
- Decrease accounts receivable collection days
- Develop systems to ensure gross burn rate is always at healthy levels
- Provide guidance on tax preservation strategies
- Lead finance team
