NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a Corporate Transactional Legal Assistant to join our client’s team in Tampa, FL. This is an onsite, contract to hire position.
SALARY: $30-$40 hr (depending on experience)
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant
- Corporate filings experience
- Reporting and research skills.
- Experience with mergers/acquisitions, security exchange commissions (SEC), Nasdaq filings and other Florida entities.
- Advanced verbal and written skills including strong command of spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
- Interpersonal skills to maintain strong client and co-worker relationships.
- Highly organized and has acute attention to detail.
- Confidential.
- Dependable.
- Types a minimum of 60 wpm.
- Basic knowledge of typical office equipment including multi-line phones, multi-function machines, cost recovery equipment, etc.
- Intermediate knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Nuance PDF.
- Minimum of high school diploma required.
