NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a Data Engineer -AI/ML to join our client’s team in Tampa, FL. This is a hybrid, direct hire position.
SALARY: $110,000 -$120,000 (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:
• 5+ years of data engineering experience
• 2+ years of experience applying machine learning in production
• Extensive experience with Databricks and data pipelines
• Proficiency in SQL optimization and complex queries
• Experience with Kafka, Apache NiFi, and data integration tools
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and privacy best practices
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Statistics, or related field
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design and build end-to-end data pipelines and integrations
• Develop and optimize data architectures for large-scale ML workloads
• Deploy and operationalize machine learning models and solutions
• Modernize and scale BI capabilities through data pipeline advancements
• Implement LLM-based solutions, RAG architectures, and generative AI use cases
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data projects and requirements
• Provide technical mentorship to junior data engineers
• Engage with vendors to evaluate tools and coordinate data integration projects
