NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Controller – Real Estate to join our client’s team in Saint Petersburg, FL. This is an Onsite, Direct Hire position.
SALARY: $85,000- $91,00K (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:
- Must come from a non-profit organization to understand their operational context
- CPA with public accounting experience preferred
- Management experience within a non-profit and working with funding agencies
- 3-5 years of experience in real estate transactions across a broad spectrum
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and real estate accounting software (e.g., SAGE Intacct)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure accurate financial data and reporting, maintaining and securing records
- Reconcile all balance sheet accounts by deadlines
- Post and review transactions in property management systems
- Support Accounts Receivable by reviewing deposits, processing ACH/wire transfers, reconciling bank statements, and posting to GL
- Support Accounts Payable by reviewing invoices, approving ACH and check transactions
- Review and approve payroll entries bi-weekly
- Prepare financial reports, variance analyses, and support budgeting and financing efforts
- Serve as SME on system implementations related to real estate and property management
- Assist with grant applications and budgets, providing necessary financial data
- Support the preparation of annual budgets and financial statements
- Compile data for audits and annual filings
- Perform other relevant accounting duties as assigned
