NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a Design Manager to join our client’s team in Orlando, FL. This is a hybrid, contract position.
SALARY: $40-$45hr (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:
- Hospitality or commercial interior design experience (6–8 years)
- Strong project management and vendor oversight
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit, Adobe Creative Suite
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with FF&E budgets, construction docs, QA/QC process
- Mandatory onsite: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Specification writing software
- Experience with reserve philosophy/useful life asset planning
- Professional industry certifications
- Knowledge of construction sequencing + life safety codes
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage up to 25 design projects concurrently via third-party design firms
- Lead RFP process, bidding, onboarding, and oversight of design vendors
- Conduct site visits, gather stakeholder feedback, ensure scope/timeline/budget alignment
- Enforce brand standards, coordinate QA/QC, review RFIs/submittals
- May lead design work directly, including FF&E, space planning, and CD development
- Interface with internal ops, procurement, project management, and HOA boards
- Travel ~35% (passport required) to domestic and international resort properties
