NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking an Interim Controller to join our client’s team in Tampa, FL. This is a contract, hybrid, position.
SALARY: $55-65/hour (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:
- Controller or strong Accounting Manager experience in small to mid-market companies
- Highly hands-on and willing to “roll up sleeves” to execute tasks
- Strong process improvement mindset (not just maintenance)
- Experience with Halo or QuickBooks software
- MSP or services industry experience is a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Rapidly assess current accounting and finance operations; identify breakdowns and inefficiencies
- Lead clean-up of financial processes, including close, reporting, and reconciliations
- Establish clear workflows, ownership, and decision-making frameworks
- Drive month-end close discipline and improve accuracy and timeliness of financials
