NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a QA Engineer to join our client’s team in Tampa, FL. This is an onsite, contract position.
SALARY: $38-$45 per hour (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:
• 1+ years of manual testing experience, with 1-3 years preferred
• Automation testing experience using Selenium and Java preferred
• Experience with Playwrite is a plus
• 3+ years of experience with Application Lifecycle Management tools such as ADO and JIRA
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes
• Experience with SQL and API testing tools like Postman or similar
• Strong soft skills: curiosity, learning agility, assertive communication, collaboration, adaptability, discipline, and quality focus
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prioritize testing efforts based on business and technical risks
• Rapidly learn product domain, architecture, and failure modes
• Perform manual testing, including edge and exploratory testing (~70%)
• Develop automation strategies for stable, high-value processes
• Track metrics such as risk mitigation, defect trends, and validation timelines
• Communicate transparently, escalate risks, and clearly define scope boundaries
• Apply structured QA practices following IEEE/ISO testing principles
