NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client’s team in Tampa, FL. This is a hybrid, contract position.
SALARY: $35-45/hour (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:
• 4–8+ years of accounting experience at the Senior Accountant level
• Strong general ledger and month-end close experience, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Proficient with Halo or QuickBooks software
• Comfortable working in unstructured or evolving environments
• Tech-savvy with a desire to utilize AI extensively for process automation
• Excellent communication skills, reliable, self-motivated, and proactive
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Help clean up historical accounting inconsistencies to ensure accurate financial data
• Execute AR/AP, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting tasks
• Identify errors, inefficiencies, or gaps in processes and flag improvements
• Work closely with the Controller to implement enhanced workflows and procedures
• Leverage AI and technology to streamline accounting operations
• Adapt to shifting priorities and support accounting functions across different business stages
• Collaborate with internal teams and directly with clients when needed
