NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Security Engineer to join our client’s team in Lake Mary, FL. This is an Onsite (Direct Hire) position.
SALARY: $80,000 – $150,000 (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least 5 years’ experience in IT Security discipline, preferably within a financial institution or credit union.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) are preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conduct security analysis and engineering activities
• Support and respond to security incidents
• Participate in on-call rotation and support after-hours events or project go-lives
• Support the selection, implementation, refinement, and management of security tools (SIEM, EDR, firewalls, vulnerability management, IAM)
• Support compliance, risk management, and security best practices
• Collaborate with IT teams in a non-siloed environment to ensure security standards are maintained
