NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Solution Architect to join our client’s team in Tampa, FL. This is a Hybrid (Onsite/Remote) Contract-to-Hire position.
SALARY: $75-80hr (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience designing and implementing software solutions
• Experience working within or closely with an Enterprise Architecture or solution governance practice
• Strong background in solution architecture, integration design, and modern application patterns
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Dynatrace
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Technical expertise in microservices, APIs, cloud-native architectures, and CI/CD practices
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design and document solution architectures aligned with enterprise standards and requirements
• Develop solution-level design patterns, guidelines, and best practices
• Ensure systems are scalable, performant, secure, and maintainable through architectural decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project solutions with enterprise goals
• Provide technical insights to support solution planning and delivery decisions
• Participate in architecture reviews and ensure compliance with architectural governance
• Mentor developers and junior architects to improve technical quality
• Support evaluation and integration of modern technologies and cloud-native services
• Contribute to proof-of-concept efforts to validate architectural approaches
• Promote lean and agile practices in the design and implementation process
• Ensure project outcomes meet security, regulatory, and enterprise policies
