NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Data Engineer to join our client’s team in Worcester, MA. This is a hybrid, direct hire position.
SALARY: $120,000 – $150,000 (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Integration, or Business Intelligence
- Advanced SQL skills, including designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex queries
- Experience developing enterprise reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI or similar BI platforms
- Experience working with cloud-based enterprise applications and data services (Microsoft Azure preferred)
- Proficiency with data pipeline and transformation tools (e.g., Databricks, Fivetran, dbt)
- Knowledge of enterprise data modeling and designing data warehouses, data lakes, or modern analytical platforms
- Experience implementing data quality, governance, and validation processes
- Experience developing data transformation and automation solutions using Python
- Ability to integrate enterprise applications like ERP, CRM, and HRIS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, Dayforce)
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and modern data integration methods
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize enterprise data pipelines supporting ERP, CRM, HRIS, and other systems
- Create reliable, scalable datasets for reporting, analytics, and BI initiatives
- Design and improve data models to enable accurate and timely reporting
- Build and maintain integrations between enterprise applications via APIs and database connections
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data quality and consistency
- Support enterprise system implementations, migrations, and acquisitions through data mapping and transformation
- Monitor and enhance data quality, governance, and documentation across data sources
- Troubleshoot and resolve data integration, transformation, and reporting issues
- Partner with various teams to deliver scalable data solutions to support decision-making
- Ensure data solutions comply with security, privacy, and regulatory standards
