NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client’s team in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is a remote (work from home) contract position. SALARY: $45-50 per hour (depending on experience). Unfortunately, at this time our client is unable to sponsor or transfer visas. REQUIREMENTS:
• 3–5 years of general ledger / month-end close experience
• Strong GAAP accounting knowledge
• Financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting expertise
• Balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Assist with monthly financial statements and reporting
• Complete bank, billing, receivable, and payable reconciliations
• Coordinate wire transfers and monitor banking activity
• Prepare audit schedules and support financial audits
• Assist with annual budgets and monthly budget reporting
• Perform account analysis and statistical reporting
• Identify opportunities for process improvement
• Support operational leaders with financial reporting
• Provide guidance to less experienced accountants as needed
