NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Accounting & Finance Manager – Managed services to join our client’s team in Tampa, FL. This is an onsite, direct hire position.
SALARY: $100,000–$115,000 (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in MSP, MSSP, SaaS, or technology industries
- Direct experience with recurring revenue businesses, including deferred revenue, contract billing, and revenue recognition
- Proven leadership in managing monthly close processes and coaching accounting staff
- Experience owning or contributing to annual budgeting and forecasting, including variance analysis
- Strong GAAP knowledge with hands-on reconciliation and journal entry review skills
- Ability to build scalable financial processes and leverage automation/AI tools
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the monthly close, review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
- Oversee revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and accounting for recurring revenue
- Manage and coach the accounting team, including hiring and development
- Own the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis
- Monitor cash flow, treasury, and vendor management
- Oversee billing accuracy, AR aging, collections, and payroll processes
- Review gross margin reports by service line and validate contract setups
- Collaborate across teams (Sales, Service Delivery, People Ops) on pricing and margin analysis
- Identify opportunities to automate workflows and improve month-end close efficiency
- Prepare financial reports and analysis for executive leadership
- Act as primary contact for external auditors and tax agencies
