NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client’s team in Orlando, Florida. This is an onsite, direct hire position.
SALARY: $86K – $125K (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:
• 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience with DOD/US Government accounting (FAR/DFAR) and systems (e.g., Deltek Costpoint)
• Proficiency in GAAP, SBA, GSA, and Service Contract Act
• Strong skills with NetSuite and QuickBooks Time
• Knowledge of international accounting, foreign currency billing, and VAT calculations
• Ability to manage government contract invoicing and compliance
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform daily accounting operations: general ledger, accounts payable, receivable, payroll
• Manage international contract invoices, including foreign currencies and VAT
• Review VAT filings for accuracy and completeness
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports
• Develop and maintain a 13-week cash forecast
• Coordinate month-end closing activities and ensure timely financial reporting
• Review and prepare international journal entries for compliance
• Support budget preparation and indirect rate projections
• Assist with financial audits and auditor requests
• Support forecasting and financial analysis including variance explanations
• Contribute to annual insurance renewal data and analysis
• Facilitate ad hoc financial reports and meetings as needed
