NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a General Manager o join our client’s team in St. Petersburg, FL. This is an Onsite Direct Hire position.
SALARY: $150,000-$260,000 base + bonus(depending on experience). Unfortunately, at this time our client is unable to sponsor or transfer visas. Only candidates authorized to work in the US without sponsorship should apply.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience leading manufacturing teams in a multi-product, high-mix environment
- Background in defense manufacturing or hard tech (e.g., drones, space, military tech)
- Proven ability to develop and implement operational processes and SOPs
- Customer-facing experience, including interfacing with high-profile clients like Disney or military generals
- Experience in advanced manufacturing, robotics, additive manufacturing, or highly technical production settings
- Strong leadership and process improvement skills
- Ability to thrive in startup, scale-up, or high-growth environments
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Drive operational excellence, quality, throughput, and profitability
• Establish and maintain scalable operating procedures and standards
• Lead, coach, and develop production teams
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators, including uptime, throughput, inventory, and efficiency
• Collaborate with engineering and technical teams on advanced manufacturing technology implementation
• Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and inventory
• Build infrastructure to support future facility expansion
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
• Manage budgets, resources, and overall operational performance
• Transform the facility into a repeatable model for future growth
