NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Financials Product Owner – SAP MDG to join our client’s team. This is a remote, contract position.
SALARY: $95 – $110 per hour (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:
• Strong functional finance background (Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or related roles)
• Working knowledge of SAP MDG and master data governance within MDG
• Experience managing finance-related master data objects: GL Accounts, Profit Centers, Portfolio Hierarchy, Future Cost Center
• Ability to translate business finance requirements into MDG configuration outcomes
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a focus on aligning finance stakeholders
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Serve as Product Owner for finance master data governance capabilities in SAP MDG
• Manage the product backlog for finance master data objects, including GL Accounts, Profit Centers, Portfolio Hierarchy, and Future Cost Center governance
• Collaborate with Finance and Program Finance stakeholders to gather requirements and define priorities
• Translate business data needs into MDG process design, governance workflows, and data quality improvements
• Write and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation to support MDG enhancements
• Support testing and stakeholder sign-off to ensure governance processes meet requirements
• Drive continuous process improvements to ensure accuracy, control, and usability of finance master data
