NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a SAP MDG Developer to join our client’s team. This is a remote, contract position.
SALARY: $90 – $110hr (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of hands-on SAP MDG development and configuration experience, especially with MDG-F / finance-related MDG work
- Proficient in ABAP development (enhancements, BAdIs, user exits, debugging in MDG)
- Experience with BRF+ rules for validation, derivation, and workflow logic
- Knowledge of MDG change request processes, data quality checks, and governance workflows
- Experience with DRF / replication frameworks and troubleshooting integration issues
- Understanding of finance master data concepts and downstream impacts on GL close, reporting, and compliance
- Ability to support system testing cycles, cutover planning, and production support
- Strong collaboration skills with finance and IT teams
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, and support SAP MDG solutions focused on finance master data (e.g., Business Partner, Customer/Vendor, Financial data objects)
- Build and enhance MDG data models, staging structures, and governance workflows
- Develop and maintain BRF+ rules for validation, derivations, and default values
- Configure MDG workflows including approvals and exception handling
- Monitor and troubleshoot MDG data replication processes
- Develop MDG/UI components such as FPM / Floorplan Manager enhancements and configurations
- Work with stakeholders to define data standards, approval hierarchies, and governance KPIs
- Support testing phases, cutover, and ongoing production maintenance
- Document technical specifications, functional designs, and operational procedures
