NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Security Architect to join our client’s team in Washington, DC. This is a hybrid, direct hire position.
SALARY: $200,000-275,000 (depending on experience).

REQUIREMENTS:
- Deep expertise in cloud computing and cloud security.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft security and infrastructure stack.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Security Services, including Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, Azure AD, and Azure Firewall.
- Familiarity with Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Defender suite, including Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud, and Defender for Office 365.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or Azure Cloud Security certifications are preferred.
- Experience with automating security controls and scripting (PowerShell, Python, etc.) is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and implement security architectures focusing on Microsoft Azure environments and integrating full security toolsets.
- Develop security documentation and best practices to safeguard enterprise assets and data.
- Optimize solutions for secure web gateways, zero trust access, cloud security posture management, and data protection.
- Collaborate with IT, security, and business teams to align security measures with business objectives while managing risks.
- Assist in security troubleshooting and analysis efforts.
- Work with Cyber Risk and Operations teams to address vulnerabilities identified in security assessments.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.
- Keep current on emerging security threats, technologies, and trends to enhance security posture.
