NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Staff Accountant/Accounts Payable to join our client’s team in Tampa, FL. This is a Hybrid, Direct Hire position.
SALARY: $70,000-$90,000 (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous accounting and/or bookkeeping experience.
- Working knowledge of accounting principles and practices related to Accounts Payable, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately process invoices, payments, reconciliations, and financial records.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute full-cycle Accounts Payable processes, including three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving documents, and vendor invoices.
- Code General Ledger accounts and review incoming invoices for accuracy.
- Code vendors and process, match, and pay invoices.
- Obtain invoice approvals and follow up on pending items.
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve invoice and statement discrepancies.
- Oversee inventory workflows, track stock levels and variances, and maintain accurate asset records.
- Reconcile physical inventory counts with ERP system records and resolve discrepancies.
- Audit account books and inventory logs, review reported values, and update records as needed.
- Manage business license renewals and maintain current corporate registrations.
- Assist with tax compliance preparation, including sales tax, use tax, and corporate filings.
- Review financial statements for accuracy and legal compliance.
- Accurately enter accounting information into business logs and the corporate ERP system.
- Inspect account books for efficiency and accuracy.
- Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts.
