NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Data Engineer to join our client’s team in Tampa, FL. This is an hybrid, direct hire position. Only 2 days remote.
SALARY: $93,000 – $120,000 (depending on experience) + up to 10% bonus

REQUIREMENTS:
• 4+ years of data engineering experience
• Strong SQL skills and advanced query optimization
• Proficiency in Python or Scala for data transformation
• Experience with modern cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Microsoft Fabric)
• Cloud platform experience (Azure or AWS)
• ETL/ELT pipeline development expertise
• Orchestration tools experience (Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster)
• Data modeling proficiency (star/snowflake schemas)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for diverse data sources
• Build and optimize enterprise data warehouse systems
• Design scalable data models to support BI and analytics
• Automate orchestration and workflow processes
• Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to meet data needs
• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance standards
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data pipeline performance
• Apply best practices for data governance and documentation
• Evaluate new tools and technologies to enhance data infrastructure
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship within the team
