NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a QA Automation Test Engineer to join our client’s team in Reading, PA. This is an Onsite, contract position.
SALARY: $45-$65 hours (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:
• 4+ years of experience in QA automation, software quality engineering, or SDET roles within digital, SaaS, or platform-based environments
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks across UI, API, and integration layers
• Proficiency in at least one programming language used for test automation (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python)
• Hands-on experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
• Strong understanding of Agile development practices and working within cross-functional product teams
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for UI, API, and integration tests
• Ensure thorough test coverage for new features and product enhancements
• Improve automation strategies to enhance speed, reliability, and scalability of testing processes
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure quality standards are met
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment support
• Analyze defects to identify root causes and collaborate with engineering teams to prevent recurring issues
• Create and manage test data to support automated and performance testing scenarios
• Validate system performance, reliability, and uptime aligning with SaaS expectations
• Contribute to evolving QA standards, tools, and best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex test automation issues efficiently
• Maintain clear documentation of test frameworks and scripts
