NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Finance, Risk & Compliance to join our client’s team in Tampa, Florida. This is a hybrid, direct hire position.
SALARY: $150,000–$175,000 + bonus (depending on experience).

REQUIREMENTS:
- Hands-on accounting / monthly close – Must have personally driven the monthly close in a lean environment while also being able to lead a team.
- Finance function/process building – Must have a track record of building foundational, scalable finance processes and controls rather than simply operating within mature systems.
- Revenue recognition / ASC 606 – Strong technical accounting experience, particularly principal-vs-agent and gross-vs-net determinations.
- Cash / lending / working capital – Experience with cash forecasting, lender relationships, lender reporting and ideally borrowing-base / asset-based lending.
- Strategic operational finance – Must understand margin, unit economics, vendor incentives/rebates, cash impact and how finance supports business decisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement the finance, risk, and compliance infrastructure
- Lead accounting operations and oversee the monthly close process
- Manage revenue recognition for hardware, software, subscriptions, and services
- Oversee cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships, including lender reporting
- Drive planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decisions
- Manage enterprise risk programs, insurance, tax compliance, and lender diligence
