NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Corporate Actions Specialist to join our client’s team in St. Petersburg, FL. This is a hybrid Contract position.
SALARY: $30-$36 per hour (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in financial services
- Proficiency in required software applications to produce reports, correspondence, and spreadsheets at an intermediate to high level
- Skilled in reading and understanding stock records
- Knowledge of financial products, instruments, management, and cash/capital principles
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Read legal and regulatory documents to determine required actions and processes
- Notify Financial Advisors (FAs) about corporate actions affecting their clients
- Process complex mandatory and voluntary offers
- Manage dividends and interest payments processing and allocation
- Update account statuses with daily reports
- Handle client elections (instructions) when applicable
- Respond to complex or unusual client inquiries independently
- Update client and firm accounts accordingly
- Process high volumes of inquiries regarding past and current corporate actions via phone, fax, and email
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for systems and new processes
- Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned
