NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Java Technical Lead to join our client’s team in Reading, PA. This is an Onsite Contract To Hire position.
SALARY: $63-$75 hour (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:
- 8–10 years of full stack Java software development experience with modern frameworks and languages (React, Angular, jQuery, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Spring/Spring-MVC, myBatis, RESTful APIs)
- Experience leading medium to large digital projects in an Agile environment
- Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and architecture
- Expert knowledge of relational database design, implementation, and complex SQL queries
- Strong soft skills, including mentoring abilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead development on medium to large projects, ensuring scalable and maintainable solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical designs
- Develop and optimize backend systems and relational database schemas
- Contribute to frontend design with UX/UI teams to ensure a seamless user experience
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
- Review code and mentor junior and offshore engineers
- Participate in design reviews, quality assurance, security, and deployment processes
- Create automated tests, leverage CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshoot production issues
- Document systems and architecture details to facilitate knowledge sharing
- Support hiring processes by evaluating and interviewing candidates
- Research and adopt emerging tools and frameworks to improve development practices
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining effective collaboration within teams
