NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a IT Operations Engineer to join our client’s team. This is a remote, contract position.
SALARY: $45-$55/hour (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:
- Extensive experience with system administration, including patching, server management, and circuit monitoring
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration, including routine configuration, maintenance, and support
- Experience managing server patches with WSUS in an enterprise environment
- Ability to perform vulnerability remediation, including registry edits
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory management and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with VMware vCenter for VM management
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring and alerting via SolarWinds
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support and troubleshoot wireless access points
- Administer and maintain Windows Server environments
- Manage server patching using WSUS and apply security updates
- Perform vulnerability remediation, including registry changes
- Manage virtual machines through VMware vCenter
- Verify backups using platforms like Rubrik
- Monitor infrastructure health with SolarWinds
- Handle Active Directory administration and troubleshooting
- Communicate issues, impacts, and resolutions clearly with business owners
- Conduct thorough shift handoff communications
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively during each shift
